Channel notification in French(?)

I got this email today:

I believe this is the usual notification that a new video has been posted in a channel I subscribe to. But why is it in a different language?

lol.... now that could get really difficult if the channel owner is russian or japanese....

Since Sharemixer (script we use for the TMU movie site) supports multiple languages, clearly it send out notifications (assume it would do the same for user subscriptions, etc.) in the language of the filmmaker, not of the recipient - something worth mentioning to them.

Since we encourage participation from all The Movies and other machinima communities, as somebody said, might prove to be a culturally-broadening experience in the months to come.

EDIT: There is indeed at least one French language film in that channel.
