The year is 2098.
Human expansion and computerisation has taken its toll on the organic nature of humanity, and extreme pollution causes every one in five children to be born with something referred to as 'the Affliction'.
CULLING will be a movie representing the disgusting, filthy and utterly corrupt nature of humanity.
Humanity is in for a rude awakening.

Geez, Roger and I do a radio show every Sunday that does much the same thing....
Concept looks great, Nugget - love the backstory and work you've put into this - it ain't gonna be just a movie, it's gonna be an EVENT!

I like the story you're hinting at, and the news article... can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

Sounds really cool, Nugget, and the news report is very intriguing.

Apologies for the necrobump and/or necropost, but I felt like I owed TMO another apology since I never, ever, EVER complete a project...
Anyway. For my A2 Level Media Studies, part of the coursework required is a moving image short. I've decided to take the setting of Culling, and put an entirely new story into it, focusing in on a short film of around 5 minutes of length.
Now, are we allowed to put "real life" movies (and their production progress) on the site, or should that be reserved strictly for YouTube?

No, feel free to put "real live movies" and their production progress on both TMU and the forums here.
After all, you were once a machinima moviemaker and some of us haven't forgotten when you actually finished Warship Dracoclaw ;)

Whilst it looks like this is 'just another failed Nugget project', it's not - however the lead actress in it didn't want to be put on the internets, so you'll just have to take my word for it. =\
if you need VOs just let me know :)

You're shocked? Imagine my shock! And then sadness when I realized it wasn't part 3 of Warship Dracoclaw:001_tt2:
Nice little piece - some solid editing and camera work, and your cast deserves a round of applause as well - in no small measure for putting up with what I imagine was an abusive, out of control director....
But seriously....
Clever piece, done well.
