I'd love to see part of a show dedicated to different outside editing programs - who is using what, the different features, etc. - kinda similar to the show today regarding MovieStorm and iClone.

Good idea - I know we have lots of Magix users (using varous versions of the software), Biggs uses Vegas, you use...Ulead, right?

So yes, great idea - maybe the week before the 24 hour show.

Rileyman is the Ulead guru - he's who I harass with my questions.

I'll stick my hand up for Magix and/or FXHome VisionLab if you have no other takers.

Yep, this is a great idea, Dulci!

I've just gone bidding crazy and got me a version of Sony Vegas 8 Pro, which usually comes in a bundle with a camera, on Ebay - minus DVD architect (which I don't really need) - apart from that it's the same as the version Sony sells for around €700 (which is a bit much for me) - at a very nice price! :)

At the moment, I would be able to give some Magix and fxhome advice - though I'm sure Killian will be much better at that than me.
Last week I learned my weak point in english is definitely technical terms....

Oh, and if you want to see what is possible with Sony Vegas 8 Pro, watch this excellent tutorial video by Overman:
ZS Dissection Lab #11: Candle Flame (http://z-studios.com/blog/2009/01/30/zs-dissection-lab-11-candle-flame/).

I use Roxio for cd burning and have heard they have a new setup for dvd burning and editing. Anyone know about it and is it any good? :wheelchair:

I'm using Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus atm. and it is great in terms of editing but not as good as Vegas in terms of facilities.

I am loving this nice little piece of software. Ulead VideoStudios is a great fit for what we do.

I use both Windows Movie Maker and Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro for outside editing. ;)
