I have an issue. ( oh, if it were the only one) I released Team X Adventures on TMO one week ago today. My studio page isnt updating, my movie is not even 1 millionth place, ( I have 7 comments) go look for yerself.... http://movies.lionhead.com/studio/JohnnyEx
So I PM THE MAN, 5 DAYS ago and he replies ( yesterday finally) that he needs "more information"....So, I PM him back, telling HIM the same shit, " My studio page aint moving". Ive tried "bookmarking" stuff and things that normally update the page, nada...Meanwhile, other movies are jockeying for position in the charts ( action) Theres even a flick there, get this; a DUPLICATE movie, each with 1 and 2 comments respectively in that same genre, I CANT make this shit up folks. Im fed up. Gee, I wonder if this has anything to do with debuting it HERE first...Or perhaps my low-key support of a particular friend of ours...Ill NEVER shut my mouth, nor compromise my opinions for anyone! EVER! Let this be a lesson to you?....:gunsmilie: Or is this an innocent mistake? :surrender:

It's TMO. It's buggy and not very well kept. Things happen and you've just gotta roll with the flow. He may or may not be ignoring you, but it's very likely that he's busy.

I dunno, JohnnyEx. But if something sinister is afoot then you're in good company. THE MAN kept The Sex Pistols's "God Save The Queen" off the number one spot, back in the day, despite the figures saying otherwise...
Wiki says: "The song peaked at number 2 (behind Rod Stewart's I Don't Want To Talk About It) on the official UK Singles Chart used by the BBC, though there have been persistent rumours - never confirmed or denied - that it was actually the biggest-selling single in the UK at the time, and was kept off number 1 because it was felt that it might cause offence".
So, wear this like a punk rock badge of pride, sir.

Well said rog. However, Im forced to take a hiatus soon, and was hoping to go out with a bang, and Im extremely disappointed in my 1st love TMO.
I do so enjoy being mentioned in the same sentance as Johnny Rotton and the boys, rock on. TMOs dead. God save the Queen, we mean it man!

Exactly the same's happened to me JohnnyEx. I posted my What A Man's Gotts Do here on TMUV first and days later on TMO. Neither the film or my studio position has budged an inch.
I wonder if there really is a sinister plot underfoot?

I haven't posted a new movie but my old movies have the exact same rankings on my studio page as they did before the crash. I had trouble updating my studio page description, which I've previously found can force the updating of the rankings. I couldn't update the text I had there and just add an extra word or it would fail. I ended up wiping out all my prior text and settling for 2 words.
My conclusion is they are not yet back at full funtionality. I don't think there is anything more then that going on.

OK, OK, I guess it all seems so half assed, when ya PM someone with pretty specific, stuff and they go uh, "What? Can you be more specific.." Ive been here since March even a complete idiot knows what Im talking about with the charts.

Yeah, there's been something very screwy with the charts since they came back from the crash (and even before it - some genres didn't get medals in...June, I think - just...didn't get them, though they were top 3 in the genre) - apparently LH didn't fix that part of TMO, or something - people were very concerned at the end of July, because the charts were frozen.
I thought I saw something from some member indicating that they'd awarded medals in mid August, but the charts still don't seem to be functioning properly. Probably pretty disheartening for those hoping to get a medal, or those waiting to release their already-completed films, hoping for glory.

I had some issues with the charts and the posters you could put on the front page. After a few posts, PMs and bashing my head against the keyboard (seemed effective at the time), Woody finally looked into it. He had one of the web programmers took a look, and suddenly the posters were showing up on the front page again, and the charts had updated for the first time in weeks. (yay)
The problem is that I seriously doubt that it's actually fixed yet. My studio page shows me ranked 20th, and yet I'm showing as 14th on the charts. Plus we have nahton's symptoms, and all the other little quirks that have popped up with movies being permanently unrankedth, etc.
I might have another go at trying to convince Woody it's still screwed up, but I'm just not sure I have the patience for it. It's so frustrating that reporting a problem doesn't get them to look at it. You have to PROVE to them that the problem exists! ... (end rant)

Maybe they're updating the charts manually, and the guy who used to be on "remove movies" duty now sits at his desk clicking on a button and making the posters rotate.:scared:

It's just another way of stalling... because all this makes it very obvious that they don't care - and by asking for proof, they're not so very cleverly (because it's so transparent) making it a nuisance for people to complain - hoping that soon they (like you right now, Biggs) won't have the patience to do it anymore.
I honestly don't know why they don't shut the site down - they obviously don't want to invest time and money anymore, and have pissed the customers off successfully anyway.....

That would explain the peculiar squeaking sound, right enough. I thought it was bed-springs but it could be a wheel.
