Yes yes, a copy-and-paste job from the TMO forums, so sue me, just trying to spread the word out as much as possible, the attention whore that I am.
PLOT
Paul Morgan is a normal man, leading a normal life, with normal friends, a normal job, and a normal wife. But, one seemingly normal day hanging out with one of his friends, Paul dissappears in a flash of light. He suddenly reappears in a room. A white room. A white room with nothing but a desk, a chair, and a man. And he has been waiting...
Even up to this point that's all I'll be giving out, as I want to keep the specifics hidden until release, but I'll give you a few of the pics from the thread to make up for my lack of details. Pardon their size.

Paul and his co-worker, James Tanner, shooting the breeze as they skidoo off to work.
Awaiting some overlays from Pooka, then I shall venture into PP. I may or may not get bogged down from schoolwork in the meantime. Getting this out before the end of the month may not happen, and if it does not, then I'm keeping my mouth shut about a date until I can guarantee it so I don't tick you guys off and give you all false hopes.
Ta ta.

This should be a good one, the script alone had me very entertained! :P

PP Data:
126 Total Scenes
Appx. 30 Minutes of Raw Footage (Record)
About 150 Lines of Dialogue (Record)
Edited the first 2 minutes of the film, counting overlays. Going quicker than expected. No release date set yet. Got another pic, probably the last until release.

What's Paul running from? Or to? Well, only one way to find out...

Edited up to 5 minutes of film, VO's, music and everything. I am afraid I may have to go back into AMM for a scene or two, so hopefully no dreaded scene shuffling will occur. I've gotten the film (counting the unedited "fat") down to 22:40. I think I'm roughly somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 done with the movie. Unfortunately I'll have a very busy weekend with little to no time to work on it, with both an all-day birthday party on Saturday and an appearance on the Aussie Show tonight! :57:

PP is a pain. It's a lot harder editing conversation scenes than I thought. It's very hard to distinguish who is talking for one scene from the other, but thanks to my moderate OCD I somehow manage to order them. Unfortunately my hopes of not having to take a trip back to AMM were crushed horribly and before you know it *pow* everything gets mixed up, and somewhere on my scalp I get a grey hair. Because of this constant and well-documented aggravation with this notorious problem, progress has slowed, but this project will see the light of day.
^ The above post is documenting the 10 days since my last update, as the last 5 or so I have dealt with a serious cold that luckily I am getting over (I think). One would like to hope so. Through the aggravation I have edited 8 minutes of the film if I recall, been a few days since last check. This movie will be monger than 12 though, as I went through an editing frenzy one day and hit that mark with maybe another minute or two for the ending before getting a case of the McShuffles and my scenes getting out of wack again, pushing me back a few minutes to where I am now. Production may resume again soon, depending on schoolwork, considering I have a lot of (home)work to make up now, and of course my sickness.
I just realized how much later this project will arrive than I intended (off by two months). Oh well, as Maxwell Samrt would say, "Missed it by that much!". Don't worry, I already have another film sort of worked on already, beginning of a script and AMM but nothing too in-depth. More on that later though, another movie for another thread.

GREAT NEWS! :w00t:
The movie, except for custom sfx, is totally finished! It clocks in at 15 min 7 secs. Barring a clean export, expect a release date very soon. :57:

I've been mulling over an improved version of this film - with better editing and reduced VO noise - and recently I've discovered a way to reduce the VO noise using Audacity (I'm slow) so I think I can finally do it. Don't expect it before the end of the year but do expect it.
The Wait: Enhanced Version is on its way! :001_tt2:

Gone over and (hopefully) improved all of SnakeEater's lines (all 54 of them). Next up are mine and all the extras. Hopefully I can get most of them done tomorrow, but the rest may be put off a while due to a new school schedule. We'll see.
