I remember back when I started being on TMO there was a thread by leora and someoneelse offering help with script correction for foreigner and anyone who needs it. It helped me a lot back then.
So if anyone is willing to help foreigners with their scripts/subtitels or anything to do with language problems, this is the thread to offer it.
And if any foreigner needs help this is the thread to ask for it.
*edit* maybe Ken could move it into the production help sub forums?:shifty:

Done. :001_smile:
This is a great idea, Dom!
I always have a native speaker proofread my scripts (it's always poor Norrie who has the "honour":tt2:) and I'm sure there will be others willing to do it!

:tt2: indeed!
I'd be happy to help anyone out with proof reading. Carte Blanche to be a spelling and grammar pedant is Heaven sent for me :4:

And I'm also willing to help out for subtitles, voice over, or whatever - if you can get the sense of what you're trying to get across in English, be glad to make it sound like people talk....even if English is your first language ;)

Great idea. I'm always happy to lend a hand to our fellow non-English (or non-primary English) speaking members with regards scripting a dialogue.
cheers

Maybe a sticky and a rename to "Proof Reading Services" or something?
I love it. I've been so lucky to get to talk to sisch a few times, but I just loved talking to Primaer about the subs for the high res version of Preachers. Got to talk about that film in depth... still one of my favourites.

Ahh, TFD, I'm sure you mean "non-English-speaking" in terms of foreigner?? :) (...being from a english-as-second-language familia myself...)
I'm always glad to help in this area, please PM me if you'all out thar run out of options. I'm very much on the move these days but I always try to help if I can.
But - TFD - What happened to your SUNSET script??? Curious to know if you made that into a movie!!
