I really should start booking guests earlier in the week - I mean, I'm here every day, so I naturally assume that everyone else is as well....and they'll get my PMs and respond promptly.
But no.
Anyway, we do have confirmation from one guest. I'm not telling you who. That might jinx it, and then we'll have no guests. But rest assured, we will have one guest. At a minimum. Hopefully two. Three would be stupendous, but then again, that's outside my control, since they have to respond to the PM.
And if, by chance, we do end up with only one guest, we may do that thing we've talked about doing for...well, years....but we never actually get around to doing... That's open phones. You want to talk about something, you call, we talk. If we're interested, it's a long conversation. If we're not, it's short. Seems fair enough to me.
But we will manage to get through the first 90 minutes + with the kind of quality BS you can only find in front of a convenience store in a rundown part of some post-industrial dying city....including announcements, birthdays, Monk with Rednecks Massacre Cinema, Rposhard with Reel Discovery, and so on and so forth. Lots of talk. Which is only right, since we're a "talk" show. Note I don't say an interesting talk show. I'm not delusional. But there is talk, so we come in above the minimum requirements. For reference, think of Roger's test scores.
This coming trainwreck of an entertainment extravaganze begins at 2 pm Eastern, 6 pm in the UK, 7 pm in Europe, and two hours earlier than I mistakenly told Uber last week in Western Australia - he hates me for it, and I don't blame him. To listen, go to the TMOA site (http://www.tmoaradio.com) and click the 32K or 64K stream. Your media player will open and sound will cme forth from your speakers. We're all about ease of use.
And if this really sounds like something you'd rather miss, remember, you don't have to listen to hang out in the TMOA chatroom (http://www.tmoaradio.com/v3chat/index.php), under the gentle moderation of the gentle JudyAnn88. That will give Roger and myself something to do - play the "Which three of the twenty people in the chatroom are listening" game.
