GEEK ALERT!
It's actually "felgercarb", you Daggit!
(BTW whoever thought a chimp in an extremely unconvincing costume actually, for any length of time at all, would be mistaken for a robot dog wants lining up against the wall and shooting... along with that irritating kid who someone had the sense to excise from the new BSG)...
Sky One are airing the last two episodes back-to-back on Tuesday, I think... can't wait.

You say potato, I say potato (in a better accent)...
And Boxie DID make an appearance in the new BSG. They just didn't get around to killing him off in a gruesome manner.
Why do i suddenly feel like issueing you all with atomic wedgies now? Damn you geeks. :D

I'm looking forward to the finale with excitement and dread. I hate to see the end of the series (but it does mean I probably won't have to watch the Sci Fi Channel become SyFy), and am afraid whatever they do will be unsatisfying - not because Ron Moore screwed it up, but because nothing would satisfy me.
Now, I've watched the clip from Caprica....I've even preordered the DVD - but I'm not sure I plan to watch the series. It's sure to be well acted, well written, and full of surprises. But I don't watch Desperate Housewives and I'm sure the same could be said for that (or at least could have been in the beginning when people raved about it...)
Do I want to see the family of Joe Adama and some other family in some kind of Dynasty-like struggle, with the future Admiral Adama making a poopy in his big-boy diaper?
I think not.

Now, Ken, you know, everyone poops (http://www.amazon.com/Everyone-Poops-My-Body-Science/dp/192913214X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1237587670&sr=8-1).

Yeah; pretty much what I was thinking about Caprica, having seen the promos... though, it is a different kind of sci-fi (;)), I'm not a fan of what quite frankly looks like some wierd kind of "Dallas in Space" from where I'm standing...
(though, we COULD get the whole "in the shower... it's all a dream, Bobby" sequence, I suppose... Yes, yes... I'll get my spacesuit...)

I quote from the School Library Journal review....
"In this Japanese import, readers are informed on page one that "an elephant makes a big poop, a mouse makes a tiny poop." Later on, they are told that it comes in different shapes, colors, and smells, and that, depending on who is doing it, it is done in different places. The summarizing statement is that "all living things eat, so everyone poops." However, there is never any explanation offered as to why. Overall, the text is merely a series of rather dull pictures of back ends of people on toilets and animals, with captions identifying them and occasionally posing questions such as "What does a whale's poop look like?" (No answer is provided.) There is even a little joke: "A one hump camel makes a one hump poop. And a two hump camel makes a two hump poop. Just kidding.""
On the other hand, this might tie into the Caprica series....watch it for me and let me know :cool

I've been watching the Season 4 marathon since 2 P.M. Too bad it's going bye-bye. Hopefully, Caprica will be better, if it can be better.
Earth is apparently a nuke bowl at the end when they find it. Enjoy the ending. cylons already found it. bwahahahahahaha

I've just watched it.
Great finale, they did one of the best TV series ever justice.
Very few series get to end properly (including the unfortunate original series).
I think you'll at least half like it ;)
No big spoilers, but the battle scene was just outstanding even by cinematic standards. FX work was incredible.
VERY MINOR SPOILERS FOLLOW
Favourite spoilable moment: Adama lying in a Caprican gutter puking up horribly all over himself - then looking up to the sky with a big grin on his face :) - among the many awards this episode will get "Best Throwing Up All Over Yourself Performance" is a shoe-in for Edward James Olmos this year.
@ BiggsTrek - no "feldergarb" unfortunately (lol). But there are some retro surprises; the original Battlestar music comes in very tastefully at one point (ps. did you notice in the recent one with the piano player, the first theme he plays when he's mucking around is the old Cylon theme?).

Well - Caprica is all about how they created the first cylon
somewhere along the line, the cylons took human form - and presumably adapted themselves to pooping and pissing.
Not very clever and quite inefficient.
I would have made a model that ran on light power and didn't have a need for an arse or stomach which needs feeding every 5 hours - why they wanted to go that route, I don't know. Maybe the new series will give us an answer to that ...

Honestly, I hated it. The last 40 minutes were a complete turnover of events. It was just too much for me. Fans of a series don't like change, but if there's going to be one, then it has to be a welcoming one. This is why I have so much energy going into series finales, but then become disappointed with the last episode. That's just my take on it. Great series, but I never expected the "truth" to be what it was in the last half of what was looking to be a great finish for this remake.
