Hey everybody! Although I am already fond of this community, I want to introduce myself to those of you who don't know me. Well, my name is Ryan (no, it's not Thomas, haha). I make my machinima using The Movies software and my main genres are action, comedy, and horror. Click on my studio link to see my old work. I haven't uploaded anything recently but I plan on starting new work and finishing old projects.

Other than that, I am a skateboarder/drummer who loves music and movies. I have an awesome girlfriend who I am staying committed to. I'm not much of a video game nerd anymore but I'm definitely returning to The Movies and reunite with one of the strongest and friendliest communities.

I have a question for you expert editors: what program do you recommend I use for outside editing? I have the trial version of Sony Vegas Pro 8 at the moment and is working great. But what else is there in store for me (no matter what the price)?

Thanks. - FT :balloon:

Greetings and welcome (back? :P).

In response to your question, there are a ton of OE programs out there (each of which sits with each individual differently); the three main ones people here tend to use are Magix, Vegas and Ulead (all of which were discussed along with Premiere on Roger & Ken a few weeks back; d/l available in the usual place). There are a couple of threads dotted about discussing these, so have a butchers.

Welcome back. I remember you. I believe you have already made yourself at home. :confused1:

Think before you post sometimes man, it's kinda annoying the way you get the wrong end of the stick a lot

Anyway, Hey Fallen, or Ryan, nice to see you over here, I remember some of your films on TMO :)

Welcome back.

Loved that one movie with the rabbits in tuxedos shooting at the main character. Strange film, but entertaining.

Glad to see you decided to stick with movie making, FT - you've got some real talent (the trailer for The Hospital was outstanding) and I for one am looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

I rember your flicks too, and it's cool to see how your movie-making has evolved from Wakko's Chicken to I Never Miss. Haha, much improved.

Wait, do I know you? It's erm Fallen...

Oh right, your FallenThomas! I can remember your trailer for the Hospital, which was really frightening, and your movie for my annual competiton, which earned a nice 6th place called Food Friends.

Fallen, great to see you back. :)

Kit.

Just to let you guys know, I am actually making movies again. I'm just having trouble finding the right time to do it. Caught up in schoolwork and... other things. :sweatdrop:

Excuse me for the double-post, but I wanted to let you guys know that my old flicks are still around on TMU and Blip TV. Click here (http://www.tmoaradio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1835) to find out more about these cynical cinema releases. :clown:
