....the upgrade of TMUnderground is complete - the new theme is Harmony, and I like it (though we need to modify our logo once more.
Haven't had a chance to mess with the admin side of things yet, but I can already see some things it's fixed.
(and PMs, friend requests, etc. are back)

Like the recent user list thats now gone, and my thing say i have 2 messages, but none in the inbox same with friend requests
Can the lay out on front page be changed a bit?

I do like the new look of the frontpage! Killian mentioned elsewhere the problem with accepting friend requests - I have that, too.... accepting brings you to a log in screen (although I'm already logged in), back to the friend request, log in.... plus it says I have 5 new friends request, but there are only 2....
Just looked at Valentines Day again - and is it only my eyes, or is the quality of the visuals much much better?

...I thought that was just me as well :)
It does look crisper (and noticed on some of the other movies as well), but I don't know if that's just the contrast difference between the new colour scheme and the old one that is showing them off, or whether there is a difference in the encoding...
Either way, it can only be an improvement if the movies here all look better :)

Yes, we should be able to do some modification to the layout (though I do kinda like the layout of the new Harmony theme). But certainly some tweaking.
All of my inbox stuff is back - if you've already accepted a friend request, it may still be in the inbox, but when you click on accept, takes you to the login thing because they're already your friend. They have asked that we keep an eye on the site for a few days (apparently there were duplicate keys in the PM and friend message table) so that may be what's causing it at this point.
Recent user list is gone, but the user list thing at the bottom (which used to just have random "cool" users) now can be sorted by last on, most popular, whatever - in the Harmony theme it's 3 entries, in the older ones it's 5.
Still need to do some tweaking so things like the oversized Veoh screen for those linking to Veoh don't overrun the text on the right, but that's do able - overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I like the flash flip thing below the main film, with snap shots, the color and stuff is fine, but the giant film in the center was my question, eats alot of space, but can films on their page be that size?

I always thought the film of the day (even though I can hardly be bothered at this point to change it daily) should be more central and larger (also like the "what's new" thing moved up there, instead of buried below the fold, so to speak)
I would imagine we can pump up the size of the movies on the "movie page" - should be easier now that they've moved to more open scripting - just one of many things I need to find time to do.

I think it's worse.
1) The jerkiness of movies played in full screen mode remains - downloading via Firefox remains the desired option.
2) The DOG - why oh why oh why? A silly logo ever present at top right. Why do that? It's not cool and it's not clever. It's distracting.
3) No ability to change text descriptions of your own films. Even TMO has that. If there is a way of doing it, I haven't found it after half-an-hour.
Thumbs down from me unfortunately.

Select the tab "My videos"
All your videos will appear with the option to select the box "Edit Video"
ta da!
i've set my disply back to the old design, i got used to it, but lets face it, its not that hard to focus or negotiate and smooth for me, and i'm on the other side of the planet

I've never gotten jerkiness with full screen - however, I know that some members in the UK and Australia seem to be getting about 25% of the throughput on the upstream that I get, and that may also be the case with the downstream - so it may be that the peering on whatever datacenter this is hosted at isn't as good with overseas connections.
I don't like the logo myself - was waiting to hear some kind of consensus from the users (it's something new that was added to the site flash player with this version - I believe I can remove it, and if I can't, they can - I mentioned yesterday in one of the problem threads that I didn't like it, but nobody else has even commented...are they blind!!!:whistling:
And yes, you can edit the text in your video - though it's not where you would expect it to be (on the movie page) - click My Account on the Main Menu Bar, then my videos in the smaller bar above - you'll see all your videos, and each one gives you the option to edit it - you can also take advantage of another new feature, which is the ability to password protect the video.
Keep letting me know about issues like this (Jazz and everyone else) - the Sharemixer guys are very responsive, and fixed our first batch of reported problems in less than 10 hours.

Well, I'm not one to nit-pick but...
I always pause until the download bar is clear... are we in that much of a hurry? I'll always blame my ISP before the site (hosting taught me that)
The full screen works great every time.
The logo bothers me not, I'm watching the film.
Paginating 12 is such a newbie mistake :D

Only thing that bugs me (about the site, - my 'life' list goes on and on) is that you can't rate or comment on the 'featured' movie - unless i'm missing something. This means, if you are lucky enough to be the director of said featured movie, you are gonna have a shit load of views but jack all comments

True enough - if you want to rate it, you have to go to the movie's page - I guess it's a trade off - lots of people are exposed to it, and if they really like it (or really hate it) they will probably click on the movie link and give you a rating/comment - if they're kinda neutral, they'll hit stop and move on, but hey, at least your movie is getting exposed.

I've noticed for me that the first time the site loads up, a lot of icons on the main menu don't load up, and instead are stuck perpetually with those loading circles. After clicking on anything and then going back to the main screen, everything is loaded and accounted for. I can certainly live with it, but I just wanted to point it out in case there's a fix for it or something.
