Welcome to TMU.
Your name makes me laugh. There's a cartoon where an elf would turn into a mouse when someone said Jehosaphat. Gotta love the Saturday morning cartoon days.
Damn it, I want cereal now :)

Welcome... and, in response to your question, all things come to an end; Lionhead decided they were going to pull the plug on it.
So no more uploading and, after LH effectively waved away the community, Ken set this place up for anymation makers (which had the added bonus of removing restrictions about outside editing, etc, and attracted some of the talented film makers along who have been using other machinima packages).
So, all in all, I think things worked out rather nicely in the end :)

How do we all know if this was Derek? How would Tfoster know? I feel sorry for the sucker if it really wasn't Derek, just got banned for being friendly, if it was derek.
Don't you think its stupid that he might have gotten banned for nothing? Who is/was DerekHH anyway?:saddam:

Never assume that anyone was banned for nothing; no-one gets banned for nothing... there's always a reason.
DerekHH was a juvenile kid who delighted in producing offensive and downright crap movies who got serial bans over on TMO for being incredibly abusive, immature and offensive to other community members, who subsequently came here and couldn't keep his stupidity or offensive nature in check; history was doomed to repeat itself.
The reason I would imagine that the finger of suspicion was raised was because the name of Derek's crappy rip-off site (called, oh how I laughed at the funny, "TMU", where he has apparently uploaded a load of Sims2 woo-hoo movies, which sadly goes to prove his level of maturity) got mentioned in the word association thread.
Plus, Ken has his ways of finding these things out.
Probably now is the time to let this thread die.

I was on Skype in a conference with Mike and Tom, I was also speaking with Burkey.
Burkey told me that this alt sent him ad's about Derek's site. We concluded that it is Derek, since no-one else in their right minds would have used the words in his ad, as he did.
I spilt the bean to Tom, who has posted here, making some sort of snowball effect.
I hope that answers your question Werecool.

Yes, JJ was indeed Derek (or his brother - same difference).
Derek was banned - I had my concerns about allowing the JJ registration to begin with, based on a couple of factors including geographic location. But I figured if it turned out to be Derek, he would be easily banned again.
And so he was.
