Hi there-
I missed both the Ken and Roger show and Wolf and Dulci - (Dolf and Wulci) because every time I click on one of the listen options - my browser goes wonky "Not Responding" I've had this happen no matter what link I try - 32 or 64 or alternate.
Dulci thinks this may have to do with a Windows update - does anyone have a clue to offer? I can't figure it out. I running Windows XP Media Edition SP3 and Mozilla Fire Fox latest version.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Are you using the latest version of Windows Media Player (v11)?
Have you dowloaded the codec pack available from Microsoft for WMP?
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=06fcaab7-dcc9-466b-b0c4-04db144bb601
(Yes, I know it says "7.1 or later", but I think some of the later versions of WMP don't have all the available codecs in the standard version).
And/or, you might find the K-Lite Codec Pack handy (as it contains a load of codecs useable for many different formats)
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm
Hopefully, this might help.

Thanks Killian - yep, I already have all that stuff installed. The shows played fine for me week before last - this just happened this past weekend and I have no idea why. It's bizarre.
I can download and play them from the archives with no problem - I just can't listen to them "live".
I'm swamped with work right now but will do further investigations on this when I have more time.

Hmmmm... I know Ben has recently been having some issues with being able to access the stream... maybe he might be able to shed some light on it?
Hi Cathy,
I believe K4 AKA Tinman had this problem not terribly long ago and managed to fix it. You may want to try asking him how he did so.
Also, if that doesn't work out for you, I suggest for the time being using another media player such as winamp (http://www.winamp.com/ - 100% free and able to play more file types than WMM) until you can get it fixed. This way you don't miss out on any more shows :).

Yep. I too have been having problems with the stream. It's been going on for about a month or so. I may not be a computer expert, but yes I agree, it may have something to do with the updates.
Still trying to figure it out...sorry stuck in the same situation too.

ooooh d-d-d-d-d-dear - I found my problem and it's not the player...
I can't download ANYTHING in Fire Fox 3.09 AND Internet Explorer won't respond at all AND I can't even access the IE connect wizard... I'm hosed.
Going to fire-up the laptop and download IE 8 onto a CD and see if I can install it.
I don't think it's a virus, I use Kapersky and have had no problems at all - but something has gone terribly wrong here :001_9898:

That sounds like an actual issue with your connection then, if none of your browsers are working :(

LOL - Here's the punch line-
I've been having trouble with my AT&T DSL so I downloaded their "Support Tool" software last week ... niiiiice ... it totally fried all my internet connection's ability to download and completely wiped-out Internet Explorer.
I uninstalled it and everything works fine now.
WOW! What great support software they have!

...sounds like it :)
"Problem with your connection, madam? Download this and it will stop any further problems... by disabling your ability to actually do anything on the net! Have a pleasant day..."
Customer service? I think not :P
