I need some roles filled for a movie I am making called BLOOD VENGEANCE. The first part is set in West Tennessee in 1864. The main character, Confederate Captain Tom Drake has been fighting in the war since the start. On the eve of his final battle a terrible tragedy occurs. He and his companion corporal Dave Clement set out for vengeance against the man who betrayed them. Meanwhile he is being chased by a ruthless Union Major who will stop at nothing to kill him. The chase will take them all over the west.
Here are the character descriptions and audition lines.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Thomas Drake: He is a young man of thirty.
He is a tough , but fair commander. Towards the end
of the movie he is confused and angry. At the beginning
when he addresses his men he shows his soft side.
Bill Miller: He is thirty two, and at this point in the story he is
the antagonist. His loyalty lies with whoever has the most money. He has a
sneaky air about him throughout the movie. He is confident when he talks to
Thomas Drake, his longtime best friend. He betrays his friend and leads him on a chase across the west. Eventually he will have to fight to the death to make amends for his wrongs.
Dave Clemint: (filled by BenTuttle90) He is a young man who has been in many battles.
Even though he is not yet twenty, he has seen more death than five men should see
In their lives, combined. He comes from a broken home. His mother died
When he was young and his father was an alcoholic who beat him severely.
He ran away at the age of fifteen and joined the confederate army. He has a lot of
Potential and will become a major character as the story continues.
Dr. Harry Quincy: He is a doctor in his mid fifties. He is a long time friend of Thomas Drake and Bill Miller. He has been a mentor to Drake for years ever since his youth. He cares about Thomas like a younger brother and sometimes a son. He wants to help find Miller and learn why he has done this terrible deed. Eventually he will start his own quest for vengeance which will cross paths with Tom Drake more than once.
Mrs. Quincy: (unfilled) She is a woman in her late forties to early fifties. She doesn’t have a major part in the movie but may yet. She gives aid to Tom Drake and Corporal Clement after the tragedy that befalls them. She cares for Drake like a son and would do anything to protect him.
Lydia Drake Miller: (filled by Bella)
Sister to the protagonist and wife to the antagonist. She helps to reveal more about the past in the flashback that she appears in. She will become a bigger
Character as the story unravels. She is a strong willed woman with a mind of her own. Eventually she will be caught in the middle of a battle between her husband and her brother. They will force her to choose one and only one of them. The choice will eventually tear her apart both emotionally and physically.
Yankee Major Warner: (Filled by ByronH)
Ruthless, evil union cavalryman that will stop at nothing to kill Tom Drake. War has made him a hard man. The loss of his eye while defending a union depot from Drake’s men has made him despise Drake with a passion. He will do anything to catch up with him. Even if it means killing innocent people.

Bill Miller: I’ve knowed the man for ten years; I think I know what he looks like.

Dr. Quincy: Thomas, what are you doing here where's your command?
