Hi folks.
Just thought I'd write a few lines to introduce myself.
I've developed an interest in machinima over the last couple of years, since buying 'The Movies'. I originally bought it because I enjoy the management/strategy type games. However, I have found myself drawn more and more to the film making side.
As a result, I am now waiting for Amazon to deliver my copy of iClone3. I know that it is probably the same as trying to make the leap from riding a bicycle (with stabilizers) to getting on to a 1000cc Snort-guzzler racing machine. But hey ho! At least I won't kill myself when I fall off iClone:1:
I've also been amazed by the quality of some of the films here, and hope that one day I can match them and contribute.
As said above, at the moment most of my experience has been with TMS&E, but I have also played a bit with FRAPS. Mainly when I was playing Eve On-line and, again, playing with taking some shots of my attempts to fly a 7-47 into Kai Tak in MS Flight Sim.
So, I'm looking forward to getting to know people better here, and also doing some serious brain picking until I get to a level where I can start to give something back to the community.
Regards to all
