Its certainly has been awhile since i last posted an update, but I've been real busy and with college slowly resuming again , I'll be ever busier than before but i shall be working on this project and onced finished , i will be uploading it onto TMU and TMU only and you what that means? Outside Editing Baby !

Production Update !

Well its been 4 months of chopping and changing, using different filming techniques and set dressing but i can happily confirm that i have finished in AMM (thank god) and moving along swimmingly in PP (A case of lip syncing VO's). All cast Members:

K4Ownzall
Goofparade
Sparky1512
Kuroken &
Userjosh9874

have send in their VO's , but i plan to add 2 or 3 more cast members to fill on extra roles. To give the film that extra "Feel" , i am happy to announce that Nukester will be scoring the film , (oh Nuke if you reading this expect a Pm sometime tomorrow) , like i said i the film will feel fully outside edited with Magix Movie Maker , so i been experimenting with different techniques trying to achieve that "Look" , Sisch has also been helping answering my many many question ( they will stop , i promise :001_tt2:) so thanks on her part. No news on a official release date but expect some sort of teaser/trailer soon....ish.

It's great to see a production thread here on TMU Nero!

Some really interesting and distinctive screenies there, something about the look reminds me of old game titles such as 'Flashback, Fade to Black and Beneath the Steel Sky'. Perhaps it's your artistry!! :001_smile:

This project has been of high interest for me and I'm looking forward to seeing you delve into outside editting.

Can't wait to work with you on the musical side! :walkman:

Wow! It definitely looks great. Nice mods, and using Magix Movie Maker to achieve a certain look is not something I had thought of before. :w00t:

(Pssst... nukester... is there any links to music soundtracks you have done?)

Thanks Dulci, Uber , Nuke and TR3 .... @ Ubers - Technically it isn't a set just set dressing , a combination of Tarison's Bluescreen , Dr_Houses all scenes , Rik's Space Mod Pack , your very own Monster mega Pack and One of Guppi's Mods (the name escapes me everytime) , its these sets which are taking sooo damm long , i having to place each prop individually , which is a very tedious task.

and using riley's set dressing to prop tool is against your religion? It would be a time saver.

Nero

Thanks for the Info Uber , i have heard this tool before (actually sparky mentioned it to me) but haven't had the opportunity nor the time to experiment , but thanks nevertheless , on another topic , i intend to tie up all loose ends this weekends , and perhaps include a screenshoot or two.

The 1-2 hours you spend learning how to use Rileys set dressing to prop tool will save you so many hours in the end you will kick yourself for not having used it before. Shoot me a pm if you find you need assistance.

Thanks for the support Biz , greatly appreciated , sorry for the lack of updates guys, i been hella busy with work and have had no chance to work on this project at all for the past two weeks , i will try and get back on track this week, but again no promises , oh and nuke , i did a little research and see where you are coming from with the Beneath a steel sky vibes , although i haven't heard of these titles, so maybe its IS the artist :001_tongue: , but again thanks , and i will try and get to you with an PM. expect another screenshot later tonight

Is there a projected release date, or month? And what is the percentage of completion for the film Nero?

Rome wasn't built in a day ;) but thanks Killian for the support , UPDATE: about half way through PP and should be finished in about a week and half , then it will be onto Magix and Nuke ..well that's the plan anyhow, am probably running on the WORSE computer on TMU , its one of computers which its about the same size of a Xbox 360 , hardly works most of the time, it freezes , it moans and goans , i really could go on for the rest of the day , this will at Christmas , when i update to a beast of computer , but until then....

But enough of my ramblings, more screenshots later today :)

Maybe Rome wasn't built in a day, but the nation of Israel was reestablished in a day. Take hope: you're already at the end of a long road, and like Rough Transit, I'm sure this isn't the be all, end all of the 'series' if you call it that. I've been waiting for this project for almost one year. Make it good- for you don't get another chance to make a first impression...unless, of course you're able do a director's cut.

Thanks , PTM but unfortunately i have bad news , very bad indeed. I had a major system failure and was forced to wipe everything , and i mean everything :cursing: VO'S, Mods , Music , the whole lot , you can imagine how i felt but instead of giving up , i decided to start from starch , with a new script and direction and most importantly a new computer (The HP Pavilion Elite) .

The script is complete and has been distributed to a few members , whom i value their input, i patiently await their reply :) i would like to thank K4 , GP , Sparky , Ken and Userjosh for taking the time to doing the voiceovers and Nuke for willing to custom score the film .

Hopefully we can pick up this Production in 2009. Its on to COTR for me but for now Project Zero has been shelved.

What a coincidence! Too bad, indeed. I can't imagine what people go through when their projects are forced to be canceled. You have my condolences Nero. Hopefully during COTR's redux production you can get a new script together. I would say why not use the old one, but with the ability now to change stuff story/scene-wise without the hassle of The Movies is actually a good thing. So dream on!

Actually a new script has already been written , and handed out to a few people , to proofread and generally cast their opinion on it , still want to hand it out to a couple of other people aswell , so don't worry , this project isn't dead....its just in a coma...a long coma  but thanks for your concern , appreciated :)
