I got a movie I did which is an half hour long but when I try 2 export it takes forever How can I fix this?

Is your problem with 'exporting' the raw footage from The Movies or 'rendering' the final movie once everything is completed in Vegas?

A 30 minute film will take a shedload of time to render out; an 10 min film takes me anywhere from 15-30 mins to export, dependant on how much extra tweakage has been done actually in the editor (adding soundtracks, titles, cuts and fades, effects, etc; granted this is in Magix, but I seem to remember Vegas being similar); "taking forever", which I assume is meaning longer than the run-time of the final film, isn't a surprise if it's that long.

Render time also depends on a) what format you are exporting to, b) what resolution you are exporting in and c) how powerful your rig is.

The Intermediate took nearly 2 hours to render in Magix.... seems the more effects and sounds you add, the longer it will take and not much to do about that... (I rendered as .wmv, mov is a bit quicker, I learned but the resulting files even bigger)

I exported 2 times 5 minute raw segments from The Movies in HD: about 2 hours for each part.

The 3'41" export of Loss from Final Cut took about 3 hours, was 928Mb and nearly melted my MacBook Pro :o
