Does anyone use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Version 12 or Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus? :33:
If so, what do you like aobut it and what don't you like? I currently use Corel's Ulead VideoStudios 11. I am thinking about getting a better program. I know, "Get Sony Vegas!" Well, I can't afford Vegas but I can afford one of the 2 mentioned above.
I have read the descriptions on their respective manufacturer's websites and seen the features each one has to offer. Right now, due to one of them being on sale, there is only a $5 difference in the price.
I am curious as to what any users of these programs think before I decide if I want one fo them. :helpsmilie:

Well, I have Magix edit pro 14, and it's pretty neato. You can do things from Chromakeying to doing some sweet special effects. You could also mess around with the contrast, gamma, and saturation to give your movie an awesome feel to it. I know Ben has it, and if you've seen some of his movies, you can see some of it's features. Or, if you've seen Mac's movie, Do you like JosephKw movies, that's also a good example of what you can do in Magix.
I don't know about 15, but I think it has more features than 14. You might want to give it a try.
The possibilities are endless.

I would definatly get magix 15, after using it 14 feels so cumbersome. I tend to use fxhome, magix and vegas; why limit yourself to just one.

I personally never tried out Pinnacle - but Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus is good value for money.
It has chroma-keying, some good visual effects, a titler and loads of other stuff. 'Saving Grace' was made with it - including the stuff shot in X³ Terran Conflict - Magix has a nice screen-capture program included. I'll recommend it! :)

I upgraded from Video Studio 11 to Video Studio 12 - still find that program does everything I need it to, with ease of use.

Thanks for the input. I think I know what I am going to do but would like to hear from more users first.
Looked at FxHome Uber, nice programs but they are like Vegas, out of my price range at the present time. I will keep those in mind though.

Well, decided to go with Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus. Looks good and is in my price range. After buying it, I can see I will have to do alot of learning to use it properly. Thanks for the input everyone.
