Is there a means to clear watch history on the upload site for TMU? Took a moment to browse random videos that had been uploaded, and seem to have found some "unwholesome," at best, videos I'd rather not have within the history.

The one thing I would mention, as compared between TMO and TMU, is the ability to upload films none related to The Movies onto TMU, bringing about a possible derive or derailing within the future of The Movies aspect, and becoming a more YouTube. What a distaste that would leave.

I do not mean such as a talking down of videos exploring creativity in film outside of the The Movies paradigm -- only that there are some films there I do not think, personally, fit into the ideal of what an alternative upload site of The Movies was meant to be used for.

If you open your "history" page, there should be a little grey button marked "remove" under each video you've seen. If you click that, it takes the watched vid off your list.

Actually the site began as an alternative location for people to release their TM films when TMO was down for a couple of weeks. With TMO back up, TMU has become more of a place to expand outward - outside editing, more experimental or in some cases "adult" films (but certainly as far as I know, nothing pornographic - tasteless, vulgar, even juvenile, but nothing any teenager or older probably hasn't seen) - we've also opened up to some live action by TMO filmmakers.

We're also hoping to include films made by other machinima-making software (Moviestorm, iClone, Antics3d, etc.), films from the non-English speaking The Movies communities, as well as anything else that might be of interest to community members/filmmakers.

And our staff certainly keeps an eye on what's uploaded, with some things causing some debate - the chances of it become another YouTube are pretty remote, because we don't have a problem clicking the delete key on anything that we agree doesn't have any discernable merit.

If you see something that you don't believe belongs on the site, by all means flag the movie and/or PM me (tmuderg) and we'll take a look. Doesn't mean we'll agree, but always open to comment and suggestion.

Thank you for clearing that up.

I still believe this site is a large movment forward for the The Movies community.
