I got a full length movie(which is done btw script and gameplay but I just need some voice actors and actresses) when I get all the voices I need I'll tighten the movie up some.

The Movie is Called Onyx it is about a female Bounty hunter who tries to track down
a couple who takes thrill killing to a whole new meaning and a serial rapist/killer who for some reason the public doesn't seem to notice about this sadistic individual

I'm not sure if the dust on this thread means that it is active or not..but hey! what the fuck, lets give it a whirl.

i've got a movie idea that is completely dialogue based. There will be no action or scene changes. ther is only a man and his wife talking inside a broken down car while waitng for assistance.

what roles required to make this come to life you say?

Synopsis:

TWO SHOCKING AND UNEXPECTED FATES (ENDINGS)! ONE HERO WHO IS WORRIEDLY DESPERATE, AND UNQUESTIONABLY DOOMED! ONE TRUE END TO RESOLVE IT ALL!

The year is 2142. Many from the world Earth have ventured off to other terraformable planets and have made new locations of home for themselves and their respective nations. One man, Jared Tauldren, is one of the second-generation persons who happens to be questioning where this way of life will take him and the rest of humanity who came with him.

One day, while on a self-sanctioned military mission to rescue a renown scientist back from the terrorists know as the 'Irethrobs'- he comes into contact with a dark, symbiotic substance that starts to affect every aspect of his life. * Has a very alien-like, moderate-toned (not high, not low) voice. Very sarcastic; Joker-esque in his tone, but not in form (like with the attitude, but not slurring his words, per se, in a weird way, but carrying that attitude). Here's a short clip of a game that would be very influential.
* Audition Line: 'I'm shaping you into the perfect organism. Soon! Your superior side will shine through like the sun, and glisten like the soft glares of the moon's light. Think of me as your better part. Fleshing out your fury, your aggressiveness, your selfish and malevolent ways, all of which are taking bodily form and substance. Your passion and anger for the lusts of this world serves only to fuel me- your infliction of pain and suffering nourishes me. '

Mythrah:

* The Empress of the Eposodian Isle of Mystica. She's the co-creator of the Gysx (normal Gysx just infects the hosts, and acts as a very-rapid version of an autoimmune disease, and kills or taints anything it touches; the Gysxwraiths do the same, except they only symbiotically attach themselves onto their hosts, and they modify the normal versions of the host's personality, and reproduces a corrupt-version of it for their own use. And, they don't kill the host, but take over in ever physical and mental way). Jared is self-tasked in finding the antidote from her...but at what cost!?
* An Important role, but with questionably short lines, and not a lot of them to do.
* Jared's Main Antithesis.
* Age Unknown; Though, She Has the Appearance of a Young Woman.

* A prestigious terraform-research scientist who gets captured by the Irethrobs.

* Age: In his 40's.
* Audition Line: (responding to Jared's angst): 'Yeah, yeah...but you’re hurt. Let’s be going so that we can both get medical attention.'

Novacom News Reporter Toni Jones:

* News Reporter.
* Female.
* Minuscule role. With only one long line to do (part of it is shown below).
* Age: Mid-Twenties (young woman).
* Audition line: 'We have recent and oncoming reports that feasibly tell us that the main research head- Michael Dutton- has been kidnapped, and is nowhere to be found. However, like the terrorists on earth, we have discovered that people have taken responsibility for this threat. However, we cannot disclose that information at that time. Space Armed Forces Guys:

* These all short roles. They all share one line. They're all males. And I need three people to do this line. And when the movie comes out, you'll here three distinct voices shouting it.

Lark:

* A very deranged individual; much like in appearance to Carnage from the Spider-Man series.

* He's infected with a Gysxwraith like Jared, but has quickly conformed to it's influence- which he already had himself when it attached itself- forming the perfect criminal couple.

ODYSSEY CASTING CALL

Role: Lieutenant Commander Sira M'raal, the new Chief Medical Officer.

A noble-caste Cai-Tar who specialises in human medicine, Doctor M'raal joins the crew of the United Stellar Ship Odyssey, fresh from her stint aboard a smaller vessel, and must find her niche on the ship. Her initial meeting with the Captain does not go well, and it appears that she has issues with her position aboard. What will be unveiled about her, and the other characters? You'll have to wait until early 2009 to find out!

Or, alternatively, approach me about the part! There are two stipulations:-

1) Must be female (kinda obvious, really, given that she is a... well, a she!)

2) Must be capable of sending in a PM via these goodly forums.

(I said there were two stipulations; I didn't say they were HARD ;))

The character's name is Dorian Carver. He is a 30 something detective that has gotten lured off track by the greed and power that money can bring. He is cocky and very self confident and acts as if nothing can touch him.

Well, my movie "Construction Begins" is in the final stage of production. The only thing I need to do is VOs, and with a 10 minute movie, that may take a little bit.

VO #1:
Male voice, early 30s/late 20s - Regular voice, proposing - so someone who can handle a romantic mood would be nice
LENGTH: 2-4 Scenes

VO #2:
Cidney Webber is the one being proposed too. Also needs to be romantic, and obviously Female.

Police Officer #1, needs to have an authority voice

VO #9: MC/Construction
Despite being the Main Character, this isn't too demanding of a role. The movie is an action/horror, so it's based mostly on the scenes scariness rather then VO's.

Needs to be able to have a threatening voice. VO number 1 is similar, just a little deeper and more threatening.
LENGTH: 3-6 scenes.

Most VO's are about 3 lines, I may possibly even have a few with 1 line. They may also be about 1 scene. All VO's need to be male, excluding VO #2.

BTW, dont worry, I DID write the VO's already in case your wondering. I'm just not completely judging or jumping to conclusions because im not positive on the final results quite yet.

In case anyone is wondering I'll give you a little heads up on what the movie is about:

In the beginning there were three worlds - the world of light, the world of darkness, and Earth. In the 300s a group of witches and wizards fleeing persecution created a fourth, magical world. The world of Nouve Terra. This is the setting.

Sam and Sarah Donovan, 13 year old twins, grew up in a typical suburban neighborhood living relatively normal lives with their parents until one night when their door explodes in a cascade of splinted wood. The unseen intruders shout strange words that the children do not understand. Their parents fight valiently, but in the end the children are save by Andreas, a werewolf who works for the Magical Creature Protection Angency while their parents perish.
They are then taken before a man who calls himslef the Executor. This is Cecil Demartis. It is his job to care for the welfare of orphaned witch and wizard children.
As the children struggle to believe the strange old man he reveals that not only are they the children of magical parents they are in fact from a different world and now they must be sent to a boarding school.
Before they can argue Andreas wisks them through a doorway and they find themsleves in a typical school office. After meeting the dean they are seperated and sent to their seperate doorm rooms where they meet their new roommates and soon to be only friends.
Sam has a bit of an anger meltdown over the events while Sarah accepts that these are things she can not control.
The following morning the children meet the man who will be tutoring them in magical studies. He is the strange and eccentric Professor Peachbroom.

That's about it for the first episode. The screenplay is being adapted from my novel. It is aprox 265 pages, which is why I'm releasing this in 30 min episodes.

In this modern, computerized world, how can we know if we are truly safe? Not only are you physically threatened, but your sensitive financial and personal data is also at risk. 'Respect My Securitay' will keep you and your data safe. Never mind those ugly rumors that they sometimes resort to extreme, unorthodox methods.

So, I’m posting this, not only as a casting call, but to give you an idea of what it’s all about. Respect My Securitay is an campy action flick with a little something extra.

Here are the characters:

Mark Gladstone. Large Part. ~20 lines.
Runs a small accounting firm, Gladstone and Phelps CPA. Story opens with him finding his office has been the victim of a computer attack. His company information has been hacked. Gladstone is in his late thirties/early forties. He’s a smoker, a drinker, a bit of a womanizer, and perhaps not exactly an ‘honest’ businessman. It would be a great part for Jeremy Piven. If anybody knows him, tell his people to call my people. :)

Sexy saleswoman for the high tech security company ‘Respect My Securitay’. She is determined to sell Gladstone ALL the security products R.M.S. has to offer. Chloe is in her thirties and should be played with some defiant spunk! No wallflower is Chloe Sweet. Picture Jennifer Anniston with red hair. If you know HER, tell her she can call me direct.

Hacker. Thief. Second-story man. Dirty, filthy scumbag. Slater is an over-caffeinated twenty-something. He talks to himself a lot, and fantasizes about being an international jewel thief. I’d love to tattoo Zac Efron, get him high and let him do this part. Or maybe YOU would like to try it on.
Audition lines:
Responding to the Narrator describing him. “Hey! Who you calling a scumbag? There's a certain something that's noble about being a thief.”
Talking to himself, about himself. “Duck Slater, international jewel thief, prepares for his latest caper. Because hacking is fun, but nothing beats climbing up a drainpipe and breaking into a building.”

Narrator. Medium Part. ~12 lines.
Deep, documentary, matter-of-fact style voice. Like Rod Serling from Twilight Zone, or the guy from Dragnet. Just the facts, ma’am. He holds the whole thing together, and gives us a little exposition.
Audition lines:
"Issaquah, quaint suburb of Seattle. Home to Darrin 'Duck' Slater. Hacker. Thief. Second-story man. Dirty, filthy scumbag."
"Meet Mark Gladstone, CPA. Senior partner in the accounting firm of Gladstone and Phelps."

Bit parts:
A male cop, a female cop, and a 911 operator, all of which have only a couple of lines. If you want easy work, these are the roles for you. No audition necessary.

There’s one more part, but I’m taking it. It’s the role of the owner of Respect My Securitay. He’s the boss, who better to play him than a studio head. :)

I hope I can get some interest in this project. It’s a campy action/suspense flick with a little something extra. PM me if you’d like a role, and i'll let you know if you need to audition. I know most of your work from WATCHING lots of your movies.

Hello everyone! I am a director that has come outside of my regular machinima engine realm, to look for voice actors! I feel that in my community, which is the sims, the voice actors are painfully over used, and I believe that there are other people out there with just as much, if not more talent that deserve reccognition as well. I'm in the process of making a movie that will be released into several parts. The main idea is not something t hats typical in my community (Think American Beauty and Lolita), and I've wanted to try something against the grain and something that's not typical of videos with the sims 2. This will be a Moviestorm film adaptation of my current science fiction novel series I am working on.

The story goes on, giving the formation of the Coalition Allliance, different alien races combined togather as one, to defeat and untie against the threat of the forever burning Ursans and their servets, the Sekans. Though all faces the same threat, one man, or shall I say hybrid has to face trials of his own in order to bring all togther and defeat the rising darkness.

I have the script ready of the 1 of 4 (or 5) parts to this series.

Name: G'Char - (President of C.A) A half human, half Ursan hybrid, his age and past is relatively unknown. For the most part human looking, deep within, he struggles to figure out whom he is and what his true purpose shall be.

Working on a small project, comedy I think is what it might fall under, unsure though.

Need 5 actors. There are sample lines, but I don't really require people to send in, just something to see if it sticks in the mind of anyone.

Preferably over 20 years old, and quivering shy voice, only 4 lines, but essential to a small sequence.

Lucy - Travel section, dull, slow speaking, possibly older than she should be kind of voice.

And the big one, Buck, the anchorman.

Eleera (20 years old) a elf princess that is pursued by dark forces, she also must narrate the prologue.

Ralghur (60 years old) a old warrior that helps eleera to escape, also a returning character from previous films, he's a friend of King bruce, and Lord Nalghur.

Ferdinand (27 years old) a young warrior and the personal guard of Lord Nalghur.

Nalghur (real age 46, but he is cursed to make him appear as a 70 year old) a friend of king Bruce, he was hitted by a magical arrow and is now aging to death.

King Bruce (66 years old) the king of marc anthas, a leader, a warrior devoted for his people, a man of honor, a friend of ralghur and nalghur.

Narkul the orc (as a orc he could be 800 years old) a powerful orc wizard, the leader of the red scorpio realm.

Deun wolf (age, probably 35 or 45) a wolf man, a powerful dark soldier he's pursuing eleera.

Rahle (age 30) a dark man, server to Narkul the orc.

Holghar (age 56) a celk warrior, the celks are a celtic like people, he has only one line on the film, he speaks in the celk lenguage.

elf warrior (age 20) a young man that is friend of eleera.

Gelder (age 26) king's bruce son and heir, he will play a very important part in the second part of the film.

Working Title: Silence is Golden

Platform: The Movies

Plot: A short, talky two-hander which examines the nature of human relationships.

Part: Husband (unnamed)
In his sixties, so I need a convincing older-man type voice. He delivers his lines in a measured, deadpan manner. British RP accent (natural or otherwise) preferable.

Part: Wife (unnamed)
Also in her sixties, British RP accent again preferable. This role requires a lot of emotional range, and the character is required to sob and speak simultaneously at some points.

Requirements: Total dialogue in the film comes to around five to six minutes, evenly divided between the characters. Once again, the essential points are the convincing accents, the convincingly aged voices, and the deadpan male and emotional female delivery.

I'd love to have this completed in the next 48 hours or so (the raw animation is already finished), so I'll allocate the roles to anyone who feels confident they can fulfil the requirements above and get the lines (only about three minutes' worth) done and returned to me in that time. Full script will obviously be furnished immediately. There is a lot of emotionally demanding dialogue in this film so it should be a rewarding experience. I'll post up here when the roles are filled. I'm working on a short comedy movie and i require an additional voice to fill the role of a priest

The scene is of a man taking confession in a church withe a priest (could it be you?) The role is 5 lines in length..pretty much any age will work out fine

The Movie:
From Booze To Bruises
This is a gritty tragedy about Julian James - a down on his luck drunk who's looking for a way to better his life and save his souring marriage. The story follows him as he finds himself swept up into a world of organised illegal bouts. Julian is sucked into the realms of drink, fighting, and money... crossing a few unsavoury faces on his way.

The Character:

The lead character no less!

Julian James is a down on his luck drunk in a bad marriage. He loves his wife but the excitement has gone. Drinking and losing his job Julian is desperate to improve his life, but has a habbit of just moping about.

Age: 25+

Accent: Any. I have purposely cast a wide range of voices and accents to follow a slightly surreal (almost drunken) view of the world.

Style: This is a gritty movie, I need someone who sounds down to earth and can perform an often slurred or miserable form of speech.

Proffanity: Due to the adult nature of the movie there is a little involved. Although it is (due to my own views) only mild and quite rare.

Role Size: I must make it clear that this is a very large role, this is the reason that the previous actor had to withdraw.
The actor will be looking at approximately 70 lines. (with additional 'acted noise' - exclaimations of pain/anxiety etc)

In the interest of saving space and not being too particular, I'm going to give analogous characters for each of the above from (presumably) well-known movies and television programs, then paste the three scenes themselves (be gentle - this is my hobby, so I my scripts may not be ready for Hollywood just yet!).

Between the two, do your best and shoot me an compressed (ZIP or RAR) .ogg or .mp3 file to butcheredenglishstudios@gmail.com - please include the name of the character you're auditioning for in the subject line. Also, you don't have to include all the dialogue - but two or three lines are preferable to just one.

GENERAL CHANDLEY - a self-identified "hard-ass." He's not so much a genuine bigot towards the Progeny (Tiamat's human-alien hybrid species) as he is spooked and intimidated by them. Of course, he doesn't want anyone to know that, and hides his insecurity behind a tapestry of genuine bravado and feigned contempt. Chandley has no illusions about the illegitimate nature of Provision Government of the United States, but has decided that the only alternative to (hopefully) transitional tyranny is the complete and utter collapse of the United States and the American way of life - forever.

TIAMAT - a Progeny female, from the viable (child-bearing) caste. She's cerebral, detached, and a bit haughty, but not an overbearing bitch about it. She also has a very wry sense of humor and either doesn't know how to - or doesn't care to - hide it.

AGENT RICKLES - apparently a toady and yes-man, Agent Rickles is actually an unscrupulous opportunist. He doesn't so much believe in the Provisional Government of the United States so much as he enjoys the opportunities to be sadistic/hedonistic/unprincipled/generally unchecked that it allows him. Rickles is the bastard lovechild of Hannibal Lector and Agent Smith from The Matrix.

GOVERNOR CLAYTON - is the daughter of a former United States government official of high office. Over the years she has morphed from "girls-gone-wild" child of privilege to voracious gold-digger/cougar to Governor of the Protectorate of the State of New York. Although she traded on her family name to achieve her current position, she did so because of a tragedy that dramatically altered her outlook on life in the fairly recent past. A true patriot, she despises the Provisional Government of the United States, but finds The Commonwealth equally repellent. Governor Clayton seeks the restoration of the United States to a mythical "Golden Age" it never actually experienced but that she fervently believes in nevertheless.

**Pete: [laughs] Actually, I thought it was kind of flattering. [Smiling] Let’s sit down.

[Ginny turns to sit and notices Smitty is no longer there. She then starts looking around the room.]

Pete: What is it?

Ginny: I just-I can’t see Smitty anywhere.

**Pete: Oh, that’s right, I heard you and Caulder came in with the Alien.

Ginny: His name is Smitty.

Pete: Yeah, no offense, It’s just- he’s a little off.

Ginny: Well, excuse me a second. I’m sort of responsible for him.

Pete: Alright.

I'm looking for some good VO-artists for my upcoming movie "The Children of Llyr" , but basically, anyone who can actually mumble a couple of coherent words into a microphone is welcome. A lot of the character names are very Celtic and so could be pretty hard to pronounce so all characters will have a pronunciation guide included in their bios.

(Sorry for hi-jacking the thread with such a long post, by the way).

Synopsis

After years of bloodshed, the nations of Ireland and Britannia have at last forged an alleigance under their figureheads, King Bran of Britannia and King Matholwch of Ireland. The friendship is sealed with the marriage between Matholwch and the Princess Branwen, Bran's beloved sister.

But alliances were made to be broken.

The twisted acts of one bitter individual engulfs the two kingdoms in fire and shadow as war comes to Ireland.

Here is a list and description of the primary three characters. I'll post bios of secondary, supporting and one-liner characters shortly...

Basically, the story charts a huge war between Britain and Ireland and, as such, the majority of the characters are kings and warlords.

The Children of Llyr, Brân, Branwen and Manawydan are the three central characters of the movie. Each role will be very large and will need to be undertaken by someone who won't back out half-way through.

For over a decade, he has been defending his borders from Saxons, British rebels and Irish pirates and as a result, is a battle-hardened soldier. Although a kindly man, he is extremely stubborn and rarely accepts defeat, even when inevitable. He also has a ruthless streak; mercy is not a word in his vocabulary.
Voice: A British accent would be ideal, preferrably fairly generic English, although Welsh and Scottish could also fit the role. No strong regional accents (i.e Liverpool, West Country). Deep, commanding.
Audition Line (you may choose one or more sentences):

(Shaking with anger and grief) "I will not rest until his beloved rivers run red with Irish blood!"

(In a speech immediately before a huge battle) "Be not afraid, my brothers. Stand strong in the sun's early light! Let shields be shattered and ribs be broken. Let the ravens scream over blood. Ride, warriors of the Lonely Isle! Ride onwards to victory!"

Voice: Light, melodic. British ideally, but American would also be acceptable.
Audition Line(s):

(As she is beging dragged away by soldiers) "Get your hands off me!"

(Weak, pathetic,, close to breaking down completely - she is imprisoned) "I want to go home..."

Manawydan

The Ranger

Pronunciation Guide: Man-uh-wud-an (stress on the penultimate syllable).
Role: Very large.
Description: Manawydan is one of Britannia's finest warriors. The commander of a group of elite British rangers, he is extremely loyal to his brother and to his country. He is more cautious than Bran, and is also known as something of a joker.
Voice: Again, British. Manawydan will need a particularly versatile actor; he has a few fairly joky lines mixed with some serious talk and a couple of heart-wrenching scenes as he stands around the bodies of the fallen.
Audition Line(s):

(Final lines of the film. Sad, nostalgic) "Let's go home."

"You should have killed him where he stood."

(Sarcastic) "I miss him already".

(Rejoicing) "Victory! We have victory!"

Hello, I'm ChingisKan, a newcomer to TMO.

I'm producing a dub of this Russian cartoon called Vinni Pukh (pronounced VEE-nnee Pookh), which itself is a Russian take on "Winnie the Pooh".

But I need the help of some voice actors.

I am looking for a girl/woman with a slightly high-pitched voice to play Pyatachok (PYA-ta-chok - the Russian version of Piglet) in the dub .

Someone to be the narrator and possibly Pukh himself might also be good.

For the conversation below, if you want to audition for Piglet, read Pyatachok's lines and pretend you are talking to Vinni Pukh, who is high up in the air on a blue balloon and covered with black mud.

If you want to audition for Pukh, read Pukh's lines and pretend you are talking to Pyatachok, who is down on the ground watching you try and get honey.

The last roles I need filled for my latest movie "Aliens vs Predator."

Nationality: American. Stephen is the play by play guy. Also known as the fight proffessor for his vast knowledge of MMA, He is the legendendary voice of MMA

Nationality: Holland (dutch accent) Bas is a former world champion turned color commentator. He's known for his larger than life personality and humor. Bas brings alot of energy to the broadcast and is a fan favorite of the Hardcore MMA audience. Bas loves destroying livers!
Sample line: "He will have to get the fight to the ground where he can use his many submissions. Maybe even get Anderson in a liver submission!"

Joe: appx 28 lines
Nationality: American Joe is a comedian turned color commentator. He's an rabid fight fan. Joe like Bas brings an extreme amount of energy to the broadcast team. He is the voice for the younger and casual MMA fans.

Darken the Sunrise
In the cliched not-so-distant future of the similarly cliched world not-so-different from our own, a substance called vitae has appeared, giving a portion of the people that have been exposed to it extraordinary powers. In the chaos that reigned as the vitaeists and the untouched fought with each other, a man and his army rose up, conquering the world with ease. It's been twenty-five years since Kristoph Dietrich's Syndicate took control, and a small group of activists named the Protectorate have had enough.

A NOTE ABOUT THE STORY AND CHARACTERS: Given the rather hell-on-Earth setting this takes place in, the vast majority of the characters will be using foul language. Some have better mouths on them than others, and I will note in their descriptions that they will either keep it down, or not curse at all. If you don't see a note, chances are they'll be cursing. A SIMILAR NOTE: As far as I know right now, there will be no adult/sexual situations portrayed. (Insinuated, possibly. Happening, of course. But I shan't make you voice them.) So that shouldn't be a problem.

FINAL NOTE: Some of these characters are significantly smaller parts than others. A few of the Stripes will not be heard from much. Therefore, I am looking into POTENTIALLY double casting a few of them. If you are not comfortable with playing two characters, PLEASE SAY SO WHEN YOU MAKE CONTACT WITH ME. I do not mind in the least, if you are not comfortable with playing two characters; it can be difficult. It will not diminish your chance of being cast.

The deadline for auditions is March 31st. Please submit your auditions to starlitdestiny87@gmail.com in either .mp3 or .wav format, with the file name being "yourname_charactername.mp3" (so for example KissofJudas_ToreneWilliams.mp3). Feel free to audition for as many or as few characters as you would like.

ALSO: I've had a few people ask who I need auditions for the most. While I haven't made any hard choices on casting yet, there are a few characters I'd like to hear more of (and a few that no one has auditioned for yet). So here are the characters I need to hear more of: John Skinner, Kristoph Dietrich, One, Two, Four, Five, Seven, Ten, Solo, Bethany Vance, Kieran Carver. I would put extra emphasis on John, Kristoph, One, Ten, Bethany, and Kieran.
