Your Favourite Comedian!

We all have our favourite comedians, So I decided to set up a thread, so you could tell everyone who your favourite is...

Mine has got to be Lee Evans, it is just his facial expressions, clever jokes and well everything he says may sound silly, but in fact it's true!

Here is a 70 minute long video of him Live in Scotland - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5065484694156218622

Never found Lee Evans funny personally.
Ross Noble was great, though his last DVD was disappointing, and Bill Bailey is pretty genius.

Check Bill "The Bearded Wizzard" Bailey.. and another wizzard (or should that be "Izzard"?), old Eddie himself (I still crack up at the Death Star Canteen skit and the "Technology" rant with the printer problem still makes me howl...

Jerry Seinfeld
Jeff Dunham
Gabriel Iglesias
Jim Gaffigan
Brian Regan

Brian Regan has to be one of my favorite comedians, he uses clean humor and delivers it in a really funny way.

Jeff Dunham comes to a close second, Gabriel Iglesias comes in third, then Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan.

Kyle Dunnigan
Jim Gaffigan
Kyle Cease
The Sklar Bros

I think that's it for me. Dmitri would have to be my favorite followed by Kyle Dunnigan.

Good choices so far.

Mine would have to be:
Brian Regan- Possibly my favorite comedian

Jim Gaffigan-was actually lucky enough to hang with him and his opening act when they walked into the same bar a friend and I were at after one of their shows last month. He's a genuinely nice dude.

Mitch Hedberg- Original, hilarious, and a damn genius. I was fortunate enough to see his last show in St. Louis before he died.

Dave Chapelle- Even before he made it big with his Comedy Central special, his HBO stand up "Killing 'em Softly' had me cracking up from start to finish.

Honorable Mentions: Eddie Izzard, Lewis Black, Henry Phillips, and Alonzo Bodden

Chris Rock - Relationships and marriage, just funny as topics and needless to say great points and one liners in other topics. Here is just some taste: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AS13dTbAdcI (wouldn't know much of this...but still classic for those married) & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6OaRcsfnY4

Carl Barron - A great Australian comedian at stand up with two comediac dvd's. Here is part of one of his dvd's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB49t6Sd7e8 - real great stuff here.

Just a couple I can name for now.

Eddie, Peter and Billy are great...

Like with Peter Kay talking about biscuits :D

(In Slow Motion)

"MUM!...Me biscuits fallen in me tea!...Get me a spoon...Quick!...(Puts hand in to try and take it out)...Ahhh! You bastard!..."

:D

Kay was good for a while but he seems to have gone up his own arse since Phoenix Nights ended, a shame as he had potential, but that's life for ya.

The Armstrong and Miller Show on BBC 4 was very intelligent and exceedingly funny. Those guys are great.

I recently got into Little Britain. A bit late on that one I know, but those guys are great.

I like Jeff Foxworthy.

I also like Jo Brand, her fat jokes are the best ever.

Alex likes Lee Evans.

I love a lot of the old comedians.

Frankie Howerd and most of the Carry On crew.

I like a lot of Music Hall comedy.

Ben Miller was 2 years above me at school :) Exceedingly dry guy even in those days...

Yes...The Armstrong and Miller Show was brilliant!

I don't think that people expected it to do very well, but they both proved everyone wrong and produced a really witty comedy show unlike some, e.g: The Kevin Bishop Show, my god that was bad!...picks the lowest punch on every joke, is completley out of order to many races and was well, A complete and utter pile of :shit:

I think they showed The Armstrong & Miller Show on BBC Four, Two and One over a space of a few months!...They must of liked it!...

There is no doubt that BBC shall commission a second series of The Armstrong and Miller Show, and I can't wait till it's back on our screen's again... :)

Slightly off-topic, but there has been a confirmation that there's another series coming out in 2009, Tom ;)

Armstrong and Miller were never the same after they dropped Sarah Alexander from Naked Practice :18:

*aaaaahhhh Sarah*

[Edit] I suppose I should contribute something to this thread other than lust :)

Bill Bailey is a genius. For our colonial cousins who may never have heard of him, I give you one of his best bits.

If you hate U2 as much as I do, I'm sure you'll love it!

Ahahaha... that's brilliant
The guy really is a genius... I'll have to dig out some links of my favourite moments of his, too.

EDIT: These two weren't what I was looking for, but tickled my funny bone anyway, so why not :p

Alrgith, I 've got a pretty good video of Zach Galifianakis doing his thang. Very Dmitri Martin-esque in his style of delivery, but much, much stranger in his jokes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_RKi72nY2Q

I also find this (fake(?)) interview with Michael Cera hilarious as well. Very awkward. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSnBhvaXURA
