Production has officially begun on BAIS IV - The Bon Voyage Home.

The extremely ropey "getting to grips with the movies again" trailer has literally just been released (as a type this - later when you're reading it, it may have been released some time ago) and it can be found on TMU and on YouTube.

A synopsis and "best bits" of episodes I, II and III is available here:

While I think you are just riding the cash laden coattails of Bias I, II, and III let me be the first to say.. Nice!!! Will this one have killer whales?

Killer Wales.

I've never been one to resist a good pun. And I'm seldom one to resist a bad one either.

It wouldn't be BAIS without bad/good puns, would it?

I'll get the tea on...

Lovely! If lots of welsh do so happen to snuff it I'm sure we could use them to give us firm but supple...

Can't wait to see how Mulhooligan will be able to screw up something as easy as saving the Empire from a bunch of close-harmony singers... how hard could it possibly be, eh...?

damn the welsh and their choir harmonies. Great little flick, not over the top; must be the goldilocks edition.

Production of BAIS IV is well under way. I don't want to say anything about how good I think it is for fear of invoking an ancient Indian jinx.

However - as this film is probably only anticipated (eagerly or otherwise) by the people reading this thread I thought I'd throw out a choice.

Is anyone interested in seeing some "making of" videos where I go through some of the more technically demanding scenes and how I put them together? And if so would you rather see those before the film comes out (maybe with partially completed scenes to preserve something for the final film) or after the film comes out?

Let me know.

Honestly. Where's the angst, the art, the pain and suffering? If not in a DeLuxe edition AFTER the main event.

Amateur :)

Yeah; if you don't suffer for your art, is it worth it? Look at Van Gogh...

Though if you are going to go around lopping bits off at random, please make sure you put sheets down... we don't want the carpets stained with blood AND fried Ninja now, do we?

Okay, afterwards it is.

So today I took down the BAIS 1, 2 and 3 lins on TMU. Which was a surprisingly emotional moment for me - given that they were linked to TMO and obviously didn't exist anymore.

I do have copies of all three films though and will release a "director's cut" of each when I have the time.

I'm thinking about replacing all the guns with mobile phones.

And BAIS IV work is progrssing nicely. Here's a screeny of a random scene to prove it.

Damn thumnails.... Well fullscreen it looks damn impressive. However as a thumbnail it just looks like a blur.

Haha, great trailer... Reminds me of Monty Python type British humour...

Whilst not as good at cricket, the Brits make some damn fine comedies =D

Can't wait for this one!

Because you are above forum nonsense, until it impinges upon you?
Let's face it dfpiii, you'll whore yourself like the worst of them.

No offence Jase :)

I'll cop to that. This whole posting, chatting thing is just a bit blah. I'd be happier if I just had a gong - attention! .... okay, now leave me alone.

I think this qualifies as an umm, ahhh, errr post.

Because I'm hoping to do some live action filming this weekend and next I think the release date for BAIS IV may slip into February. I'll do my best, but I'm still having "third act" issues.

To say nothing of my "first act" and "second act" issues.
