missing messages from my inbox ...

Hi,

I'm still pretty new to this forum, so apologies if this is something i should be aware of. I logged in briefly last evening and had two messages waiting. Today, I have none -- not even any "read" messages.

As far as I know, I didn't delete anything, but maybe that happens by default when one logs out? Does anybody have any idea how those messages are managed?

Weird; it shouldn't be doing that...

Is this forum wise or Movie account wise?

Forum wise, if you go to your User CP (top lefthand side of the forum toolbar), click on that, go into "Edit Options" about halfway down the left hand tool bar, and scroll down the middle, this shows you your notification and settings options.

Top right, where your name is, it shows what notifications you have.

If you've got unread messages, it will flag there. Once you've read them, they stay in your PM box until you either a) delete them, b) save them out and delete them or c) until your box fills up, at which point no-one can send you any more until you clear them out.

Though, that said, I have 7 unapproved messages in a social group I can't do anything with and haven't been able to since the first server move.

Movie site wise, there is a reoccurring issue with PMs which crops up now and again, it might be that.

Either way, the Bwana will no doubt be able to sort it out; he's good at that kind of thing ;)

Total face palm. I need to get my head on straight wrt these two sites being separate. It was the Movie site, and I was looking for them on the forum site.
