Can't have a random chatter forum without a Whats the Weather Doing? thread -it is one of THE most talked about subjects in the world (or maybe just uk, not sure.)

So, today in the UK (North bit at least) it has not rained yet - this is a big deal at the moment. Not much in the way of sun but its quite warm (Yes, this is the height of the English summer :( )

I hate it when it's this hot. People bursting into flames on sidewalks, whole gaggles of flaming nuns running out into the street.

We have magnificent clouds and awesome thunderstorms in the summer in New England. Nights are mild and tender (unlike the chilly summer nights of San Francisco). I’m re-discovering how great ice cream is! (We bought a brand new ice cream scooper.)

Wed 13 Aug 2008 ~ Plenty of sunshine and a smooth 1 to occasionally 3ft of SE swell.
The wind is light from the west going SW later.
At least on the NSW Central Coast ;)
