Well after posting one of these on TMO it was suggested that one be posted here. And personally I think you guys should have a part in the TMOscars so here we are! If any of you do not follow the Lionhead forums then to cut the story short I've volunteered to do this year's TMOscars which we have been discussing for numerous weeks.
The time has finally come for you TMO/TMU members. You are the people who have the power to nominate movies/people for the most prestigous event of the TMO/TMU year! The TMOscars.
So to cut the story short here are the normal categories for movies :
Best Motion Picture
Best Lead Actor/Actress (this is only one category)
Best Supporting Actor/Actress (this is also only one category)
Best Directing
Best Script/Screenplay
Best Music Video
Best Original Score
Best Visual Effects
Best Outside Editing
And here are the categories concernng people :
Lifetime Achievement Award
Best Modder
Best Newcomer ( anyone who joined after January 2008 )
You are permitted to one nomination per category and you may not nominate yourself or any movies that you have taken part in. And the movies may come from TMO or TMU but must be made with the movies, No Sims2 stuff. To nominate a movie you must PM me either on the Lionhead Forum or this one although I would prefer it if it was done through Lionhead but whatever is best for you with the following information
The name of the movie
Name of the movie director
Link to the movie
Short Reason why you would nominate it
However if you are nominating for the Best Newcomer or Lifetime Achievement award you must PM me with the following :
The name of the person
A reason why you would nominate him/her
Nominations will close on the 21st of November so you've got plently of time.
The plan is to get the nominations, sort out the favourites then announce it all on TMOA with hosts and members of the communities. Then it will finally be taken into a movie. Although more details of the next stage will come soon.
