Hello my dear friends!
Okay, enough of that....tomorrow, since the Aussie Show won't be running (having moved to a fortnightly schedule till Christmas or Andy's return or...something), and since Monk is playing the "heart" card and couldn't get his version of War of the Worlds done in time, and, of course, it's Halloween....
I thought I'd reach into my archives and play 3-4 hours of horror-related radio drama for those who might be interested.
Most of it is from the 40s and 50s, with a couple of stories from the Twilight Zone radio dramas done about 5 years ago thrown in. There will be some classic tales of horror, like The Monkey's Paw, The Dunwich Horror, The Lodger...and a few things you've probably never heard.
Since Roger has decided to do his Friday shows on UK time this week (snide Englishman that he is), we'll begin immediately after the Friday Night Rock Show at 8 pm Eastern, midnight in the UK, 1 am in Europe, and sometime Saturday morning in Australia, and run till at least 11 pm Eastern...a bit longer if I'm not too tired.
You know how to get the stream, you know where the chatroom is if you want to hang out.
So there ya go - and who knows, I may even slip in the 40 minutes of good stuff from the original Mercury Theater broadcast of War of the Worlds to whet your appetite for Monk's upcoming remake.
Ken
