Upped Finale twice and both times it went full term and encoded (seemingly ok), but both times it stated the full length (just shy of 25 mins) on the status page, but upon viewing stated it was 5.51 long and it had taken out the sound.
Left it for ages after the second upping, but it's obviously not a "length of time" issue. Have had to pull the movie temporarily and re-up via Veoh. Just thought it's something that needs to be looked at?

The dead and shark attack 2 did samething took 4 or 5 times to get it to work right.

Wierd; it almost seems that, the more data that is included in the movie, the longer and harder it takes to encode it. Between us, we managed to view it about 13 times before the buggering thing decided to play correctly.
It's almost as if it partially encodes, then sits there idling til someone requests the data, then it goes into an end-spin trying to sort itself out; clogging itself as it tries to render the movie out. Do that enough times and it seems to kick it into working right... very odd...

Yeah, there's some strange things happening, and I'm not sure whether it's something to do with the script *Sharemixer"), the software that actually does the encoding (ffmpeg or mencoder), or the server itself.
When this kind of thing happens, please PM me with the file size and type (wmv, avi, whatever) so I can better test problems and track 'em down/get 'em fixed.
