I've uploaded twice now and the movie still doesn't have sound. The file on my computer has sound, and my volume is on on the video and my computer, but when the video plays.....silence.....

Sharemixer doesn't always encode WMV files correctly.

If you have access to an OE program which you exported it from, try exporting it in MOV or AVI instead; they seem to encode better.

yes, go with one of those super large file sized formats..
hopefully your movie isn't longer than 2 mins or it may exceed the file size limits

i recently used and mpeg format at seemed to work for the time being

Actually you can't believe everything you read on the file size limit....it's currently at 700 megs or so.

Just a thought, try uploading to Vimeo and then linking to TMU. I have never had a sound probelm doing it that way.

Interestingly, I've just encountered this same problem while trying to upload a short film. I actually encountered two problems: First I got choppy grey-screen cut outs of the film display - this from various versions of avi and wmv uploads. I couldn't figure out why this was happening all of a sudden. Then I finally got an upload happening which had fine display, but no sound.

Trying again at the moment o upload a high def version....because, basically I don't know what I'm doing.

The movie was created in moviestorm, and I've successfully uploaded directly from moviestorm's rendered result. But when I take that version and edit with an unrelated suite (in this case Video Pad), the uploading seems to hit the TMU wall.

Advice is always welcome. :beta1:

That does seem to be the consensus.
