Server outage?

Had a "blackspot" for a few hours today where the forums wouldn't come up at all; scheduled maintenance or temporary outage?

Suspected it was my dodgey conn to begin with, but as a couple of others have mentioned it since I figured it musta been a server outage.

Maybe it was because of increased traffic due to TMO's news.

Yeah, hardware node was down - they were aware of it and working on it when I contacted them - not sure when it went down (I first checked around 8 eastern), so maybe 4 hours or so.

The credit crunch is one thing, TMO closing is another. But interfering with a coffee break is way out of order. Heads need to roll for this! :2guns:

I'm British, so having a tea or coffee break messed about witth is a very serious thing indeed. Industrial action has been held over them. :dots:
