Its been so long I thought I'd sign in again. Im not often online these days I log in through the local coffeeshop connection, so I don't respond to posts & PMs quickly, but I'm happy to be back. Drop me a PM or post a message.

Ive been busy with some contract mulimedia work as well as my primary vocation, but Ive been working away on my Poser\Blender film entitled "Before Zero" for about 8 months, only a few more to go before its done. It won't be posted online anytime soon, as I am going to be showing it at the local arts centre & selling it on DVD first. Can't sell many tickets if everyone can see it online for free, right?

I am considering getting IClone, its beginning to look almost as good as a high quality Poser render, but I still have some reservations: Im hoping that IClone 5 will be able to output alpha channels (doubtful, I haven't seen any chatter about it) and it would be really nice if they devs made it possible to send the render to a 3rd party render engine like Povray, Luxrender or Yafray.
The IClone way of making every little freakin option something you have to pay fairly big bucks for is also a detriment.

Anyway, that"s where Im at nowadays, but Im here now.

Thanks for the welcomes, I wasnt sure I would be cuz I dumped the Moviestorm Modatorium site... I got too busy, and the MS program keeps changing so my mods dont work properly when upgrades happen. Paypal, Amex, Visa and MC are in my bad books too, after yanking Wikileaks with no court order. I wont deal with any of them. I guess that means any mods I post will be free then.

Thanks for the movie comment dude. You can look forward to a few small acts of weirdness when I get IClone going.

Cuz I am working offline, the IClone installer doesnt work. They have an offline installer, but then I wont be able to access anything off the IClone store.

How important is it to have that access?

I couldn't install the Resource pack for IClone 5, no matter what we tried. (Offline install process). Eventually I gave up & got a refund for the whole kit and kaboodle. Too bad, the program has a lot of potential, but its Blender support isn't there yet either.
The tech support was fast & efficient, but the policy of activation codes and the like doesn't work very well for me.
I think Crazytalk is going to be my only investment in Reallussion software at this point.
I still have Moviestorm installed, it is handy for quick lowrez stuff, but my version is still the old freebie.
I wish Lionhead would release a The Movies 2.0, that took advantage of the same kinda realtime videocard technology...!

Heya's bongo dude long time no see...

bongo dude do you keep up with the blender releases.. blender itself is a movie making tool in its own right.. no offense to any of the others but blender is total open source and its outside editing capabilities now are simply gobsmacking
