Hi, this is probably an unusual request, but is anyone a good lyric writer? I'm trying to write a few songs for my band and I got nothing, I was never good at lyric writing. We're and alternative/post grunge band if that helps you in anyway. If you can do this for me, I'd appreciate it, I'll even credit you as the lyric writer, and if you work better with a pre-set title I can give you that, that is one thing I'm good at. :D
THANKS,

We are about to start making music, but we want to have our lyrics first so I went to writing some and i'm completely stumped, the subject matter really doesn't matter, whatever you can come up with I suppose, but I may be able to come up with something, and once again if you might be able to get a subject to write about from a pre-set title and maybe even change it after to suit the lyrics you've written, i know i sound like i don't know what im doing and i kinda don't but me and my friend really want to get into making our own music, maybe after getting a few written for us we can learn and start writing our own lyrics. :29:
ever tried basing your lryics on movies?
subject matter and scenerios are already there for you. And the subject matter is as diverse as possible... as long as you are not too obvious in the way you phrase your words you might have something. At the very least you'll have some direction.
Just a thought...
I was in the process of writing songs to a series of Horror movies i bought on DVD. a fun thing.
