Here's who I would like to hear on the radio whether they want to be on or not.
1. Dfpiii - He's weird and Scottish.
2. JohnnyAce - because he makes good mods.
3. Goofparade -because he's a talented Canadian.

Yes - DFP, JohnnyAce and GoofParade would be great guests.

All good guests - we almost had Johnny on the Riott special, of course, but he got sick or had to eat or whatever - I haven't really approached Goof, since I understand Sunday is family day for him.
But if somebody can convince him.....

Ken, who said Goof has to be on your Sunday show? You do have some radio hosts who would love to have someone as talented on air with them, hint hint. ;)
Oh yes I call it a Sunday Show because I heard from someone it is the Guppi's religion, since they apperently listen to it every single Sunday.

Norrie and RogerS, your Scottish guides to the radio afterlife, arrive at your home within 24 hours, purify your body (both inside and out), dress you in the ceremonial white guest robes (with the picture of Roger on the back) and lead you to the studio, where you frolic with Vestal Virgins until it's time to come on the air.
Or, you make sure you have me added on Skype (kuroken_tmoa), and you tell me if you can make it this Sunday, and if so, at approximately what time between 9 - midnight your time would be best.

It is happening! It is happening! Fetch the ceremonial robes and the Vestal Virgins, Norrie!

I have you added. (I'm dfpiii, by the way)
I'm off work on Monday, so I can give you as much time as you like. It would be only decent of me to listen to the whole show.
Should I prepare something? I've never been a guest before.

Roger usually likes a small animal sacrifice - something no larger than an adult German Shepard.
Oh, wait, you meant...
Ummm, a 20 minutes humorous monologue with a hilarious punchline, maybe a couple of little songs you could sing, followed by a sing-along, and a big finish of some sort...
Oh, wait, you meant....
Nope - if your mic works and Skype lets you make calls, all you need to bring is your bad self.

It would kick a lot of ass if you and Riott uploaded your "To catch a Boy/Girl" movies to TMU for those who are uninitiated. Or maybe your Wrath of Quan....

I honestly don't believe anyone even remembers How To Catch A Girl. Are you my mum? Is this one of those positive self-image things; like sending me those unsigned valentine's cards for the last 24 years?
How To Catch A Girl is actually uploaded to youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xemGfJFbCf0
Despite the fact that it is called "How To Catch A Girl", if you search for it without the "quotes" then it doesn't come up on the first page.
It remains the only film that I've ever had banned from TMO. Though to be honest, the racism in the others was much more disturbing than the sexism in that one. But there's no accounting for taste.

I loved How to catch a girl..but BIAS was the best series ever.
My "Slutty Mcgee's How to Catch a Man." was one that actually was not banned and neither was TMO's Momma is a WHore. Go figure.
I can't wait to hear you on sunday DFPIII!!!

I actually asked Jazzx to make it available for me after reading his review which is a rather glowing one. A very funny flick. Your humor is very funny stuff. The BIAS series is also a classic with the transexual nurse standing in for bones being a major highlight for me.

Thanks to riott's pimping out of dfpiii I've just watched "How to catch a girl"
Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xemGfJFbCf0)
I'd advise everyone to go watch it, and find out what kind of freak will be unleashed on TMOA tomorrow.
And now I'm off to re-watch the best sci fi series on TMO:
BAIS (http://movies.lionhead.com/studio/dfpiii)
Trust me. You know you want to too :39:

I don't often go back and watch my old stuff. In fact I don't remember the last time I sat and watched all three BAIS videos. But they are good :) Even if I say so myself.
Some better direction was needed at the beginning of Part 1, the end of Part 2 and the beginning of Part 3, but overall it was a lot of fun to write and film.
It was after the incredibly low interest that Part 3 received that I decided against making any more videos on TMO. It only got a handful of reviews at the time though I think technically it's the best film I ever made (technical skill was never my forte).

"How To Catch A Girl"
Aha! I "freaking love this song" (and movie), Mr Porteous. The follow-up to JP Hartley's "Fly-Fishing" book particularly tickled my fancy. 5 Stars! (But then I'll slap five stars on anything.) :-)
I'll go watch some "BAIS" later, too.

Okay, dfpiii (may I call you Dougal...perhaps the d stands for Dingus....yes, I think I like Dingus...)
Okay, Dingus....what you must do before the show tomorrow (and preferably by tonight sometime) is get How To Catch A Girl and BAIS on TMUnderground - you don't have to upload them if you don't want to, since when you upload a movie, it gives you the option to link to an outside source (like YouTube) by putting the embedded player code into the upload form.
I can link to them on YouTube when I put together the proper promo thread tonight or tomorrow morning (instead of the hurricane update promo thread), but I'd really really like them on TMU...because they are pretty goddamn funny.

You should tell Dingus Porteous to upload his live action comedy stuff too, Ken, 'cause it's also very funny
Eg "Great Scot!" -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-amAj2viEA
And, also, to accept me as a buddy on his TMU studio page 'cause it's just plain impolite not to. :-)

I'm uploading the videos now.

BAIS - http://www.tmunderground.com/watch/565ef66e7dff9f98764d/Watch (for some reaons this doesn't work - does this uplink need to be approved? I've loaded it twice now)
There's a flaw (which Ken's boffins are working on) where if you use any double inverted commas " in your description HAL gets grumpy and starts muttering stuff like "I'm not going to do that, Dave". (He says that to everybody - whether you're called David or not.) Could that be it?

I've ammended my post earlier to show the correct links.

Anyhoo, those links are bad too methinks. My advice is keep the description short, with no UNIX control characters, and add your bumf as the first comment.
Also, try renaming the wmv files as one word: bais, bais2, bais3
UNIX is a bugger, it's geek speak and refuses to read grammar books!

They all work for me Norrie, I just tested them.
The BAIS films all are linked to TMO and I've found it's sometimes necessary to reload a page from time to time. Can you please try again and let me know if they work for you now?

Tried again after a full cache refresh.
Safari: blank, white node.
Firefox: "Your browser is not configured correctly to receive WMV streamed video
Please refer to our FAQ"
Blame bloody Macs :) (I've never been able to stream tmo stuff on either browser)
rogerSIMIAN

Hmn. Strange. "How To Catch A Girl" is there and seems to play fine. But for the three BAIS films I get the message "Your browser is not configured correctly to receive WMV streamed video". I'm using Firefox on a Mac. I've never had that happen with any other movies on TMU (although it's standard practice on TMO). I thought that TMUnderground converted all files to Flash Video (is this correct?) so maybe your BAIS videos haven't converted properly. It probably is "illegal" characters in the description, or the description being too long or the title of the video clip itself which is the problem.
Somebody with a PC should check it out 'cause both Norrie and I are using Macs.
EDIT - just read Norrie's reply, so: what he said.

Norrie - if you go to my myspace video page, you might be able to view them there.

The TMU is coming direct from TMO, just linked to the file. So it'll be TMO problems that are screwing with you. Except for HTCAG, which is coming from YouTube. (QED?)
rogerSIMIAN
08-16-2008, 10:47 AM
I'll go watch them on MySpace.
Random thoughts: I wonder if either the capital letters in the title or the "1.11111111" in the description means that the vids haven't converted to Flash - so PC users are actually watching them as WMV files and Bloody Blinking Mac users are "not configured".
Go Configure...! heehee
Norrie
08-16-2008, 10:55 AM
Yep, it's the embedded thing from TMO. IE (spit) users should have no problems.
I'd actually just re-watched all three in a row before logging on here dfp:
"We buried her with little ceremony and substantially under budget"
Pretty much a perfect line in my book :)
