I have been in Second Life for 4 years. I'm low key and rarely talk to anybody.
I have a business there..so I do a lot with that.

Yeah, if I didn't have a shop there...I probably would be bored too. I'm getting into filming there so it has more interest for me now.

Like I said - it's hard to put into words, but if pressed, I'd have to say it sometimes feels "dishonest." Men pretending to be women, women pretending to be men, people with multiple avatars, adults pretending to be children, people pretending to be animals ... and trust me - I've done it myself to see how it feels. I spent 3 intensive weeks studying this stuff.

For me personally - I like to know who I'm dealing with. So in that regard, SL feels a little "off" to me. And I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar feeling about it.

well cath my experience with it .. i hated the vampires..well those that prayed on you to turn you to make money out of you and then you end up having to spend loads of money being a vampire... so please be careful with them.. but all the other species in sl are quite tame and friendly.. the tinys especially are awesome..

yes the men hiding in womens avatars and vice versa are very freaky.. especially for those poor souls who go into sl looking for love.. imagine ending up with someone who is the same sex ..((taking that from a male prespective)(the female prespective doesnt bother me in fact...........best left unsaid lol)).

but doesnt everyone on the internet hide behind a virtual persona..i mean you might be a creature of the night i dont know that..

btw i was a dragon for a time and thoroughly enjoyed flying around on the suitable sims
