So..you wanna be a Filmmaker?Ask someone who's been there. Industry 101 is now open!
The not so much needed introduction for those who dont know us: I'm Jase 180- I have over 12 years experience in the real entertainment industry, so does AnotherNewDawn. We are happy to share what we can and help you out with real world advice and info about the industry (thus the TMOA show which sometimes can be helpful) Simple rules to follow 1. We will answer the posted questions the best we can, however we don't want other people mucking up the thread, so post your questions and follow up questions and comments about the subjects presented, but dont try and offer advice or niffty stories to other people. I'm sure you can use PM's if you really gotta share with somebody, but DO NOT CLOG UP THE THREAD with yip yapping. That means, ask all the questions you want, but let us answer and help those seeking the information. 2. DO NOT Spam the thread with requests for reviews or ask us to write your scripts etc. Aint gunna happen. 3. There are NO dumb questions. Got one, ask it. 4. Respect the other people who post in here. If you disagree with them, great use a PM to make your point, this aint the place. ****** Ok folks, due to an overwhelming demand, this Sundays show -Aug 10, 2008- will focus on some questions that many people need answered, so back to our roots we go, with a minimum of hi-jinks for this show as we answer your questions about: 1. Getting your 1st or 2nd or 3rd or whatever live film done. You have seen some TMO members doing it recently and you might be asking yourself, what should you do next, well fear not because we will whip out the Magic 8-ball and tell you. Also, we will provide some practical insight that might make more sense than "Doesnt seem likely" which is all my Magic 8-ball seems to say. 2. "I wrote a "real" script. Now what"? Yeah, this I get alot and its always a complicated answer. So we will yap about that too. As always, feel free to call in if you need too and we can rap about your situation. Now, The 101 thread is open! |
